The national government is doing everything possible to prevent the peace process from being affected. If there is no stability and peace in the country, we all know that the construction of a union based on democracy and federalism and national development are still a long way off. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce and stop the current violence and armed attacks, he said.
As the National Planning and Administration Council, in order to build a union based on genuine democracy and a federal system based on true discipline, the peace process is being continuously taken care of in accordance with the direction of “We will work as hard as possible according to the agreements in the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) to achieve lasting peace nationwide.” From December 21, 2018 to December 31, 2022, the Tatmadaw issued 21 statements calling for a cessation of hostilities over a period of more than four years.
